Using Services On Electronic Driver Data Information & Enquiry System (EDDIES)

DRIVING LICENCE INFORMATION

1. To find out the status of your driving licence

  1. Click on 'Driving Licence Information' on the left panel.
  2. Choose SingPass or NRIC No./FIN. Click Proceed.
  3. Using SingPass authentication, key in your SingPass ID and password at SingPass webpage. Click Submit.
  4. Using NRIC No./FIN authentication, key in your NRIC/FIN number in NRIC No./FIN box; key in date of birth with format dd/mm/yyyy, such as 31/05/2007. Click Proceed.
  5. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying the types of information you can choose from, including 'Status of Driving Licence','Status of Driver Improvement Points','Certificate of Merit','Photocard Driving Licence Delivery Status'.
  6. Click 'Status of Driving Licence'.
  7. System generates a webpage displaying your NRIC/FIN number, validity of driving licence(s), class(es) of driving licence possessed, and respective expiry date(s).

2. To find out your demerit points status

  1. Click on 'Driving Licence Information' on the left panel.
  2. Choose SingPass or NRIC No./FIN. Click Proceed.
  3. Using SingPass authentication, key in your SingPass ID and password at SingPass webpage. Click Submit.
  4. Using NRIC No./FIN authentication, key in your NRIC/FIN number in NRIC No./FIN box; key in date of birth with format dd/mm/yyyy, such as 31/05/2007. Click Proceed.
  5. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying the types of information you can choose from, including 'Status of Driving Licence','Status of Driver Improvement Points','Certificate of Merit','Photocard Driving Licence Delivery Status'.
  6. Click 'Status of Driver Improvement Points'.
  7. By using NRIC No./FIN authentication, key in your driving licence card serial number in the box. Click Proceed.
  8. System validates the input and generates a webpage showing your licence number and the total demerit points as of that date. Details of the offences are also shown.

3. To find out your status of Certificate of Merit (COM)

  1. Click on 'Driving Licence Information' on the left panel.
  2. Choose SingPass or NRIC No./FIN. Click Proceed.
  3. Using SingPass authentication, key in your SingPass ID and password at SingPass webpage. Click Submit.
  4. Using NRIC No./FIN authentication, key in your NRIC/FIN number in NRIC No./FIN box. Click Proceed.
  5. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying the types of information you can choose from, including 'Certificate of Merit'.
  6. Click 'Certificate of Merit'.
  7. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying the details of the COM.

4. To find out the delivery status of your photocard driving licence

  1. Click on 'Driving Licence Information' on the left panel.
  2. Choose SingPass or NRIC No./FIN. Click Proceed.
  3. Using SingPass authentication, key in your SingPass ID and password at SingPass webpage. Click Submit.
  4. Using NRIC No./FIN authentication, key in your NRIC/FIN number in NRIC No./FIN box; key in date of birth with format dd/mm/yyyy, such as 31/05/2007. Click Proceed.
  5. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying the types of information you can choose from, including 'Status of Driving Licence','Status of Driver Improvement Points','Certificate of Merit','Photocard Driving Licence Delivery Status'.
  6. Click 'Photocard Driving Licence Delivery Status'.
  7. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying your photocard driving licence delivery status.

OUTSTANDING TRAFFIC OFFENCE

1. To find out the status of your traffic offences by SingPass

  1. Click on 'Outstanding Traffic Offence' on the left panel.
  2. Choose option 'Enquire by SingPass'. Click Proceed.
  3. key in your SingPass ID and password at SingPass webpage. Click Submit.
  4. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying functions you can choose from, including 'Enquire and Pay Outstanding Offences', 'Furnish Driver's Particulars'.
  5. Click 'Enquire and Pay Outstanding Offences'.
  6. System generates a webpage displaying details of your traffic offences, if any.

2. To find out the status of your traffic offences by NRIC/FIN number

  1. Click on 'Outstanding Traffic Offence' on the left panel.
  2. Choose option 'Enquire by NRIC No./FIN'. Click Proceed.
  3. Key in your NRIC/FIN number in NRIC No./FIN box; key in date of birth with format dd/mm/yyyy, such as 31/05/2007. Click Proceed.
  4. Key in your driving licence card serial number in the box. Click Proceed.
  5. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying functions you can choose from, including 'Enquire and Pay Outstanding Offences', 'Furnish Driver's Particulars'.
  6. Click 'Enquire and Pay Outstanding Offences'.
  7. System generates a webpage displaying details of your traffic offences, if any.

3. To find out the status of your traffic offences by local vehicle number

  1. Click on 'Outstanding Traffic Offence' on the left panel.
  2. Choose option 'Enquire by Local Registered Vehicle Number'. Click Proceed.
  3. Key in your local vehicle number. Click Proceed.
  4. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying details of traffic offences for that vehicle.

4. To find out the status of your traffic offences by foreign vehicle number

  1. Click on 'Outstanding Traffic Offence' on the left panel.
  2. Choose option 'Enquire by Foreign Registered Vehicle Number'. Click Proceed.
  3. Key in your foreign vehicle number. Click Proceed.
  4. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying details of traffic offences for that vehicle.

5. To pay your outstanding traffic offences

  1. Click on 'Outstanding Traffic Offence' on the left panel.
  2. Choose option 'Enquire by SingPass' or 'Enquire by NRIC No./FIN'. Click Proceed.
  3. Using SingPass authentication, key in your SingPass ID and password at SingPass webpage. Click Submit.
  4. Using NRIC No./FIN authentication, key in your NRIC/FIN number in NRIC No./FIN box; key in date of birth with format dd/mm/yyyy, such as 31/05/2007. Click Proceed. Key in your driving licence card serial number in the box. Click Proceed.
  5. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying functions you can choose from, including 'Enquire and Pay Outstanding Offences', 'Furnish Driver's Particulars'.
  6. Click 'Enquire and Pay Outstanding Offences'.
  7. System generates a webpage displaying details of your traffic offences.
  8. Select the offence by ticking 'Make Payment' box. Click 'Make Payment'.
  9. The terms and conditions page will be shown. Tick 'I have read and agreed to the relevant Terms & Conditions' box, click Continue.
  10. The reminder of making payment via EDDIES will be shown. Click 'Continue'. Please ensure the cookies are enabled correctly. Click here for details.
  11. Choose the payment mode by clicking on the corresponding image. You will be directed out of EDDIES for payment. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  12. After payment is successfully completed, you will be directed back to EDDIES and you will see the official receipt automatically.

6. To furnish driver's particulars for outstanding "Request For Driver's Particulars"

  1. Click on 'Outstanding Traffic Offence' on the left panel.
  2. Choose option 'Enquire by SingPass' or 'Enquire by NRIC No./FIN'. Click Proceed.
  3. Using SingPass authentication, key in your SingPass ID and password at SingPass webpage. Click Submit.
  4. Using NRIC No./FIN authentication, key in your NRIC/FIN number in NRIC No./FIN box; key in date of birth with format dd/mm/yyyy, such as 31/05/2007. Click Proceed. Key in your driving licence card serial number in the box. Click Proceed.
  5. System validates the input and generates a webpage displaying functions you can choose from, including 'Enquire and Pay Outstanding Offences', 'Furnish Driver's Particulars'.
  6. Click 'Furnish Driver's Particulars'.
  7. Select the relevant report from the list shown (if any) or enquire by report number. Click Proceed.
  8. If you choose Report No., key in relevant report No. Click Proceed.
  9. System generates a webpage displaying the report details. Follow the instructions on the screen. Click Proceed.
  10. If you are the vehicle owner of the report and also the driver, choose to use NRIC address or to input new address. Click Proceed.
  11. By using NRIC address, key in contact number. Follow the instructions on the screen. Click Furnish.
  12. By inputing new address, key in address and contact number. Follow the instructions on the screen. Click Furnish.
  13. After furnishing is successfully completed, you will see an acknowledgement page.
  14. If you are the vehicle owner of the report but not the driver, key in driver's particulars in all the relevant fields. Click Proceed.
  15. For driver with NRIC or Foreign Identification No., choose to use NRIC address or to input new address. Click Proceed.
  16. Key in driver's address and your contact number. Follow the instructions on the screen. Click Furnish.
  17. After Furnishing is successfully completed, you will see an acknowledgement page.
  18. If you are not the vehicle owner of the report, select your role as person-in-charge. Click Proceed.
  19. Key in driver's particulars in all the relevant fields. Click Proceed.
  20. For driver with UIN/FIN, choose to use NRIC address or to input new address. Click Proceed.
  21. Key in driver's address and your contact number. Follow the instructions on the screen. Click Furnish.
  22. After Furnishing is successfully completed, you will see an acknowledgement page.
