Traffic Summons

Traffic summonses are issued by Traffic Police. Depending on situation, a police officer may issue a summons to the traffic offender on-the-spot or record the offence/particulars of the offender and lodge a summons report later. The summons for the latter will be sent to the violator by post at a later date. Traffic Police also issues summonses in relation to a traffic accident or when a driver is caught committing a traffic violation by the red light or speed detection cameras.
