Information - Traffic Violations and Payment of Fines

METHODS OF PAYMENT

 

Payment by VISA or Master Card

Payment can be made using VISA or Master Card through our Electronic Driver Data Information and Enquiry System (EDDIES) website at URL: http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/index.htm. Go to Outstanding Traffic Offence under Traffic Matters and follow the instructions from there. Payment using VISA or Master Card can also be made at Traffic Police Department located at 10 Ubi Avenue 3, Singapore 408865 during the following hours (except public holidays):

8.30 am - 5.30 pm (Weekdays)
8.30 am - 1.00 pm (Saturdays)


Payment by FlexiPay

You can also use FlexiPay at the same EDDIES website above. You must have the following:

  • Valid SingPass.
  • Approved Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA).
  • Sufficient funds in bank A/C.


    Payment at AXS Stations

    Payment may also be made using the AXS Stations.

  • Please use the 16-digit numeric Payment Reference Number or Vehicle Number when making payment.
  • Payment can only be made after 3 working days from the date of offence.
  • For location of AXS stations and for further details, please call the Hotline : 6560 2727.


    Payment of Court fine at AXS Stations

    If you fail to pay the composition amount before the expiry date but do not wish to dispute the alleged offence in Court, you can pay a higher fine at any AXS Stations (ATOMS) before 5.00pm on the Court date stated on the notice. Please use the 12-digit numeric Report Number when making payment for the fine.


    Payment of Court fine through ATOMS on Internet

    You can also pay the fine through ATOMS via Internet up to 5.00pm on the Court date, at URL: https://atoms.subcourts.gov.sg/atoms.

    You will need the following to make payment:

  • SingPass ID & Password
  • Internet Banking Account with DBS/POSB, UOB or Citibank OR FlexiPay Account. You are advised to ensure that there is sufficient fund in your FlexiPay account.


    Payment at Self-Service Automated Machine (S.A.M.)

    You can also choose to pay at any Singapore Post's Self Service Automated Machine (S.A.M.). S.A.M. are conveniently located island wide.

  • Please use the 16-digit numeric Payment Reference Number or Vehicle Number when making payment.
  • For location of S.A.M., please call 1605 or go to URL : http://singpost.com/downloads/sam.pdf.


    Payment through vPOST

    Virtual Post or vPOST is an online bill payment service by Singapore Post that allows you to make composition payment at URL : http://www.vpost.com.sg

  • Please use the 16-digit numeric Payment Reference Number or Vehicle Number when making payment.

    For Notice of Traffic Offence that is issued on the spot by Traffic Police officers or attached on the windscreen of the vehicle, payment can only be made at S.A.M. or vPOST 2 working days after the date of offence. For Notice of Traffic Offence that are mailed to offenders, payment can be made at S.A.M. and vPOST immediately.

    Note: You will be directed out of EDDIES. Any payment made will be updated in EDDIES on the next working day.


    Payment by Cash or through NETS with ATM Card

    Payment by cash or through NETS with ATM Card can be made at Traffic Police Department located at 10 Ubi Avenue 3, Singapore 408865 during the following hours (except public holidays):

    8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Weekdays)
    8:30 am - 1:00 pm (Saturdays)


    Payment by Cheque

  • Cheques should be made payable to 'Traffic Police'. The Notice of Traffic Offence must be enclosed and mailed together with the Payment to Traffic Police Department at 10 Ubi Avenue 3, Singapore 408865.
  • The Report Number, Vehicle Number and Contact Number must be written on the reverse side of the cheque.
  • No receipt will be issued for such payment.
  • You are advised to ensure that there is sufficient fund in your account. Should your cheque be dishonoured, Court action may be instituted against you.
  • Post-dated cheques, partial payment and/or payment after the expiry date will be rejected.
  • Late payment should not be included in block cheque for payment for several offences.
  • Please do not send cash by post.
